NEWS AND FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS

April 2024: Terms agreed in Barns Green & Herstmonceux.

Terms have been agreed with Sigma Homes to deliver 12 affordable units on a new scheme in Barns Green near Horsham. A further 5 units will be delivered in Herstmonceux on Landspeed’s third development with Whitehall Homes. Both schemes will be delivered during 2025.

March 2024: Terms agreed in Rottingdean.

A new scheme of 16 affordable properties in Rottingdean, East Sussex has been agreed with Fairfax Properties. These units will all be available for occupation during 2024.

The purchase of two houses from Brookworth Homes in Sissinghurst, Kent has been completed with both properties reserved for sale in the short term. The second of two semi-detached houses in West Chiltington has now been reserved together with the second of two houses in Eastergate and two of three houses in Easebourne, West Sussex, to be delivered in 2025.

February 2024: East Meon units acquired and first reservation received.

Completion of the purchase of four 2 bed apartments in East Meon (near Petersfield) has taken place, with the first reservation received. A further unit has completed in Grayshott and the final sale completed in the Wivelsfield scheme near Burgess Hill.

January 2024: Contracts exchanged at Staple and new schemes agreed.

Contracts have been exchanged with Elivia Homes to acquire 6 new affordable houses on their Summerfield Nurseries development in Staple, Kent.

Terms have been agreed to acquire 8 units new homes in Loxwood, West Sussex with further acquisitions agreed for 8 units in Cobham.

December 2023: New developments agreed.

Terms have been agreed to acquire 7 new affordable homes in Nutbourne, West Sussex as well as Landspeed’s third scheme in Hambrook (for 9) in the same county.

November 2023: Ewhurst scheme completes.

After considerable legal delays in the sale chain, the second and final property on Landspeed’s Ewhurst  scheme (with Brookworth Homes) has now completed.

October 2023: Two more reservations at Grayshott.

 Two of the remaining three bungalows on Landspeed’s Grayhott development have been reserved.
 

September 2023: Terms agreed in Godalming.

Terms have been agreed with Stonegate Homes to deliver 9 affordable 1 bedroom apartments in their scheme at Westbrook Mills in Godalming, Surrey.
 

Two of three apartments on Brookworth Homes’ scheme on the edge of Burgess Hill have now completed. One apartment remains available.

Marketing of the four apartments in East Meon has now commenced.

August 2023: First completion at Ewhurst.

Following exchange of contracts at the end of July, the first of the pair of 2 bed semi-detached houses in Ewhurst has now completed, with the second property now also reserved.

Two further plots at Lewes have now also completed.

July 2023: First exchange at Ewhurst.

The sale of the first of Landspeed’s pair of 2 bedroom semi-detached houses in Ewhurst has now exchanged contracts, with completion of the sale due during the first week of August.

June 2023: New scheme agreed in East Meon.

Terms have been agreed for the acquisition of a block of four 2 bedroom apartments on Southcott Homes’ “Penny Mile” development in Coombe Road, East Meon. 

May 2023: Hove scheme completes.

Landspeed’s scheme is Hove has now completed following the occupation of the final 2 bedroom apartment. The fourth of five apartments has now also been reserved on Landspeed Limited’s scheme in Lewes. 
 

April 2023: Third completion at West Horsley.

The third of the four houses at West Horsley has completed, leaving just a single 1 bedroom house to sell.

March 2023: Third Grayshott bungalow reserved.

The third of five affordable bungalows has been reserved at Grayshott with completion forecast for May/June.

February 2023: Final Hove property reserved.

The final unit of seven has been reserved in the Aurum development on Hove seafront and a second apartment has been reserved in Landspeed’s scheme in Wivelsfield.

January 2023: New site in Eastergate agreed.

Terms have been agreed with Elivia Homes to purchase and deliver eight new affordable houses and apartments in the village of Eastergate in West Sussex.

The final property of five at Frant in East Sussex has been sold and occupied. A further apartment in Hove has also completed, leaving just one 2 bed unit available. The second bungalow at Grayshott is now sold and occupied.

Pre -2023

December 2022: First Grayshott handover.

The first of the five affordable bungalows constructed by Landspeed has been sold and occupied with a second due to exchange contracts shortly.

The first two of four properties in West Horsley (with Brookworth Homes) have also been completed and purchasers have move in.

November 2022: Completions in Thames Ditton.

Two of the three maisonettes in Thames Ditton have now completed with the remaining unit set to complete in December ’22.

October 2022: Hove sale completes.

The first of the two 2 bed apartments in Landspeed’s seven unit scheme in Hove has completed. Two units remain from the seven acquired.

September 2022: Frant scheme handed over.

The scheme of five affordable units constructed by C J Gowing in Frant, East Sussex, has been completed – with four now sold and occupied. A further sale and occupation has been secured in Hove

August 2022: First reservation at Grayshott.

The first of five 2 bedroom bungalows, developed directly by Landspeed Homes Limited, has been reserved – with completion and occupation forecast for the end of October 2022.

July 2022: Land acquired in West Chiltington.

Landspeed Homes have completed the purchase of a small site for the construction of a pair of large 3 bedroom semi-detached houses in the popular village of West Chiltington in West Sussex. These properties will be constructed directly and made available on affordable terms to those, in the first instance, connected with the Horsham District Council area.

The acquisition of the first three new homes in Frant – and subsequent sale and occupation by qualified purchasers – has been completed.

May 2022: Walberton completes. First occupation at Hove

The first of the 7 apartments at Hove has now been sold and occupied. A further 3 are reserved for completions commencing in June.

Landspeed Limited’s sales activity has led to qualified completions on the 4 new bungalows at Walberton in West Sussex, with all four occupied during the month.

April 2022: Thames Ditton plot completes.

The single detached ‘gatehouse’ unit at Taggs Boatyard in Thames Ditton has now completed, with the new owner moving in simultaneously.

March 2022: Hove purchase completed.

Landspeed have now completed the purchase of the 7 apartments in Hove and the first occupations are expected during April and May (four still available).

February 2022: Contracts exchanged in Burgess Hill.

Contracts have been exchanged with Brookworth Homes to deliver 3 new affordable apartments on their forthcoming development in Wivelsfield, Burgess Hill.

The final sale on Landspeed’s Esher development has completed.

January 2022: New Crowborough scheme agreed.

Terms have been agreed with Brookworth Homes for the acquisition of six new semi-detached houses on their forthcoming Beacon Road development.

The first of the seven units on Landspeed’s scheme on Kingsway, Hove has now been reserved together with the single plot at Taggs Boatyard, Thames Ditton.

December 2021: Third Yapton scheme completes.

Landspeed Homes’ third development in the West Sussex village of Yapton has now completed with the four apartments on the Crayfern Homes development (on the former Cinders Nursery) occupied in the week prior to Christmas.

The first of the two 3 bedroom houses in Crowborough has now been sold.

November 2021: Frant scheme launched.

Landspeed are pleased to confirm that marketing has commenced for 5 exceptional affordable homes in Frant, East Sussex for delivery in the summer of 2022. The first reservation has already been received.

Construction has started on Landspeed’s five unit bungalow development in Grayshott, Hampshire.

October 2021: Contracts exchanged on sites in Surrey.

Contracts have been exchanged with Brookworth Homes on two new schemes in Surrey. The developments in West Horsley (Guildford Borough Council) and Ewhurst (Waverley Borough Council) are further examples of Landspeed Homes’ ability to work with local authorities to deliver mixed tenure affordable accommodation on high quality development schemes.

September 2021: Landspeed director raises funds…

Landspeed founding director Ted Reddick has completed his self imposed challenge to cycle up Mont Ventoux in France. Ted suffers from an extremely rare neurological condition known as transverse myelitis and has established challenge-tm (www.challenge-tm.org) to raise awareness and funds to help others struck down by this potentially life threatening (and definitely life changing) condition. Landspeed Homes are proud to support this cause and many of our development partners and professional consultants have contributed to the amazing total which exceeds £32,000. Thanks to all.

August 2021: First Crowborough reservation.

The first reservation on the Whitehall Homes scheme in Crowborough has now been received.

July 2021: Midhurst scheme completes.

The final Landspeed sale on the development constructed by Metis Homes in Midhurst has now completed.

June 2021: Schemes completed in Churt and Slinfold.

All four units on the above schemes were completed and occupied during the month.

May 2021: First scheme in Brighton & Hove contracted.

Landspeed’s first development in the City of Brighton & Hove has exchanged contracts, with 7 new apartments being constructed on the former Sackville Hotel site on Kingsway.

Terms have been agreed for the acquisition of 5 new properties in Frant, East Sussex and both plots at Witley have been completed and occupied.

April 2021: Crowborough scheme exchanged.

With only three properties available to purchase (for immediate occupation and all 2 bedroom apartments) in Esher, Midhurst and Thames Ditton, contracts have been exchanged for a pair of 3 bedroom houses in Crowborough for autumn delivery.

Following further construction related delays, the developments at Churt, Slinfold and Witley are all set to complete during May with all six new houses set to be immediately occupied.

March 2021: Yapton scheme completes.

The sale of the final unit on Landspeed’s scheme in Burndell Road, Yapton has been secured – thereby completing the third development with Crayfern Homes and the fourth Landspeed delivery in the Arun District Council area.

The Company’s acquisition of six apartments from Reichman Properties on their Esher scheme has completed, with three of the units immediately sold and occupied.

The final house of five at Midhurst has sold, leaving one apartment for sale.

February 2021: Aldingbourne scheme completes.

The second of two semi detached houses at Aldingbourne has now been sold, bringing to a close the first development with Metis Homes.

January 2021: Reservations continue in to the New Year.

Despite delivery delays on a number of schemes (due to the Covid-19 pandemic) reservations are still being achieved and interest remains strong across all areas. Plots in Midhurst and Esher have been reserved during January although completions forecast at Witley, Churt and Slinfold have been pushed back due to construction delays.

November 2021: New scheme agreed in West Sussex.

Terms have been agreed to acquire a small parcel of land for the construction of two or three new affordable houses in West Chiltington (subject to obtaining a satisfactory planning consent to change an existing permission).

October 2020: New schemes agreed and contracted.

Terms have been agreed to acquire land for the construction of five affordable 2 bedroom bungalows in Grayshott, Hampshire. Contracts have been exchanged for a development delivering three new apartments to be constructed by Firgrove Homes on their development on Embercourt Road, Thames Ditton in Surrey.

The second completion has been achieved at Midhurst with the second (remaining) house at Churt reserved.

September 2020: Second reservation at Esher.

A quiet month with just a reservation secured on the second apartment at Esher.

August 2020: Final plots reserved at Yapton

The final two plots (of thirteen) at Burndell Road Yapton have been reserved.

July 2020: Margate scheme completed.

Landspeed’s scheme delivering four new apartments in Garlinge was purchased with sales completed simultaneously during the first week of the month.

Three further sales in Yapton have completed (with the final house also reserved) together with the last apartment in Haywards Heath. The first reservations at Witley and Esher have been received, together with the 2 bed house in Midhurst and the final available property at Cinders Nursery in Yapton.

June 2020: Two new schemes secured.

The month started well, with the final 2 bed flat reserved on the Rocky Lane scheme in Haywards Heath, followed by the first reservation at Aldingbourne and the third flat in Yapton. The relaxation of the Covid-19 restrictions also enabled completions to take place at Yapton.

Contracts have been exchanged to acquire two schemes in Surrey: Six 1 and 2 bed apartments in Esher and a pair of 2 bedroom houses in Witley.

May 2020: Very high levels of interest.

May has been one of the strongest months for new application for Landspeed’s properties – across all available schemes – despite the Covid-19 lock-down.

There has also been a considerable increase in new opportunities due to “traditional” providers’ actions in either withdrawing or seeking to renegotate terms with developers.

April 2020: Reservations continue during ‘lock-down’.

Despite the Covid-19 crisis, Landspeed are still securing reservations on both stock and forthcoming schemes. Properties at Yapton and Churt have been reserved during the month and there have been completions and occupations at Yapton. Interest continues to be as strong as ever in the new affordable homes offered by the Company.

March 2020: First occupations at Yapton and Midhurst.

The first of the 13 properties at Yapton (a 3 bed house) has now been sold and occupied, together with the first 1 bedroom house in Midhurst.

February 2020: Further completions at Haywards Heath.

Two more apartments have now been sold and occupied at Rocky Lane  Haywards Heath.

January 2020: Terms agreed in Esher.

Terms have been agreed to acquire 6 apartments within a major conversion of an office building in Claygate, Esher, Surrey.

Three reservations have been secured in the first two weeks of 2020; at Yapton, Haywards Heath and the first at Midhurst.

December 2019: 7 reservations during the month.

With four reservations in Yapton and three in Haywards Heath (over 4 sites) this has been the most successful end of year since Landspeed was established.

Two new schemes have also been agreed; in Witley, Surrey, with Langham Homes and Crowborough, East Sussex, with Whitehall Homes. Both of these developments deliver mixed tenure properties with Landspeed working directly with Waverley Council and Wealden Council respectively.

November 2019: Margate all reserved and four new schemes launched.

The remaining three units at Margate have now been reserved and Landspeed have launched four new schemes in West Sussex (Aldingbourne, Slinfold and Yapton) and Surrey (Churt). These developments offer a cross section of units comprising 1& 2 bed flats in Yapton with 2 bed houses (in Slinfold and Churt) and 3 bed houses in Aldingbourne.

October 2019: Midhurst scheme launches and first reservation at Margate.

Six new properties are now available on the new scheme being constructed on behalf of Landspeed by Metis Homes in the centre of Midhurst.

The second and final unit has now been sold and occupied in Bramley and the first reservation secured in Margate.

September 2019: Warnham and Ringmer completed.

The final units on both Warnham and Ringmer have now been completed and contracts have been exchanged to acquire the 6 new homes in Midhurst with Metis Homes.

August 2019: First occupations at Cross-in-Hand, Bramley and Ringmer.

The first of two new homes on each site in both the East Sussex villages of Cross-in-Hand and Ringmer have now been sold and occupied with a similar first completion achieved at Bramley in Surrey. The remaining sales on all three developments are set to complete before mid September.

The final unit at Cooksbridge has now been sold and the scheme completed.

July 2019: Three reservations in Haywards Heath.

Two reservations have now been secured on Landspeed’s six remaining apartments on Rocky Lane in Haywards Heath with the second 2 bedroom house at Gander Green also reserved. The final unit at Warnham has now also been reserved after strong interest from a number of parties.

Contracts have been exchanged for the purchase of two 2 bedroom semi-detached houses from Concept 2 Homes in the popular village of Bramley in Surrey. The first of these new homes has already been reserved for completion and occupation during August.

June 2019: First reservation at Gander Green.

The first of two 2 bedroom semi-detached houses on Landspeed’s scheme with Brookworth Homes has now been reserved.

May 2019: First occupations at Warnham and Crawley.

Landspeed’s exception policy scheme of 6 new properties near the the West Sussex village of Warnham is close to construction completion and the first two sales have been completed with immediate occupations on both.

The first legal completions have also been achieved on Crawley Borough Council’s 26 unit development following Landspeed Limited’s marketing of these new affordable apartments in the centre of the town.

April 2019: New scheme launched in Margate.

Landspeed’s first scheme in the Thanet District Council area has been launched, with this delivering four new 2 bed apartments available for occupation in the summer of 2019.

March 2019: Terms agreed in Churt, Surrey and Midhurst, West Sussex. Housing Association sale completes.

Terms have been agreed to deliver a pair of 2 bedroom affordable houses on the site of the former Churt Place Nursery on Tilford Road. These units will be delivered in 2020 by Mulberry Homes within their new executve development.

Landspeed are pleased to announce their first development with Metis Homes on their scheme in Midhurst. The development will deliver 6 new affordable 1 and 2 bedroom units in the centre of this popular location.

Landspeed have sold three 2 bedroom apartments on the Rocky Lane Haywards Heath development to Raven Housing Association. These were acquired by Landspeed to deliver affordable rented accommodation and after much negotiation sale was completed this month.

February 2019: Contract exchanged on new Haywards Heath scheme.

Contracts have been exchanged with Brookworth Homes for the acquisition of a pair of 2 bedroom semi-detached houses on their new scheme in Gander Green.

January 2019: Another Yapton scheme agreed.

Landspeed’s third scheme in Yapton (and third with Crayfern Homes) has been agreed, for the delivery of four 2 bedroom houses, on the site of the former Cinders Nursery, for delivery in 2020.

December 2018: Contract exchanged on new scheme in Yapton.

Landspeed and Crayfern Homes have exchanged contracts to deliver 13 new affordable homes for sale in the West Sussex village of Yapton. This will be Landspeed’s second development in the village and the third scheme working with Crayfern. The mix of 2 and 3 bedroom properties will be delivered during 2019.

The third and final home on the recently completed Romsey development has been sold and occupied, whilst the Cross-in-Hand units have now been contracted for acquisition in January 2019.

November 2018: Haywards Heath apartments acquired.

The purchase of 9 new two bedroom apartments has been completed with the units available for immediate occupation.

September 2018: First occupation at Cooksbridge and Romsey scheme completes.

The first sales of the 11 Landspeed properties in Cooksbridge have now been completed with further sales and occupations due before the month end.

Landspeed’s purchase of 3 two bedroom houses from Bargate Homes in Romsey has also completed with two sold and occupied simultaneously.

August 2018: First reservation at Warnham. Terms agreed in Cross-in-Hand.

Landspeed’s first exception site has now received the first sale reservation, leaving 5 units available that will be ready for occupation at the end of the year.

Terms have been agreed to deliver two new properties in the East Sussex village of Cross-in-Hand.

July 2018: Cooksbridge handovers start.

The first four properties on Landspeed’s scheme in Cooksbridge have now been handed over to the Company with a further seven to follow during August and September. The first occupations are scheduled for September with sales on the majority of the units now agreed.

Terms have been agreed to acquire the site of the former Chandlers BMW car dealership in Angmering, West Sussex. The proposed development involves working with the local parish council to deliver a community led project involving commercial, retail and residential property as well as other community benefits. It is expected that a full planning application will be submitted by the end of the Summer 2018.

June 2018: Crawley scheme launched & new sites agreed.

Landspeed have teamed up with Crawley Borough Council to market and deliver 26 new apartments within the centre of the town. These properties have been acquired by the Council and are being offered using Landspeed’s shared purchase model.

Terms have been agreed to acquire and deliver a pair of 2 bedroom houses in Haywards Heath as well as a similar scheme in Bramley, Surrey. Both are due for completion during 2019.

May 2018: Yapton scheme agreed.

Terms have been agreed with Crayfern Homes for the acquisition and delivery of 13 new bungalows and houses within their proposed scheme at Burndell Road, Yapton, West Sussex. Site works are forecast to commence later this year with Landspeed’s first occupations expected in the spring of 2019.

April 2018: All stock now reserved.

Landpeed’s single apartment in Eastleigh has been reserved, meaning there are no properties presently available for immediate occupation across any of our schemes.

March 2018: First reservations at Cooksbridge.

Reservations have been received for four of the eleven new Landspeed properties in Cooksbridge – these secured within two weeks of the prices being confirmed earlier this month.

The third and final reservation has been secured on Landspeed’s latest Romsey scheme and the final sale at Newick has completed.

February 2018: Land acquired for first ‘exception policy’ development and first occupations in Burgess Hill.

Landspeed Homes have completed the purchase of land for the development of six new affordable homes near the village of Warnham in West Sussex. Planning consent for the scheme was secured in the autumn of 2017 and construction will commence immediately. All six homes (1 x 1 bed; 3 x 2 bed and 2 x 3 bed) will be made available to those unable to compete in the open market and, initially, who are connected with the Parish of Warnham.

Three of the five affordable properties on Landspeed’s Burgess Hill scheme have now been completed and occupied.

January 2018: New scheme launched in Cooksbridge.

Terms have been agreed to acquire 11 new affordable homes from Gold Properties on their development in Cooksbridge near Lewes in East Sussex. These units are already under construction with the first handovers expected in the early summer of 2018.

All bar one of the Newick properties are now sold and occupied and the Fair Oak scheme has now been completed.

December 2017: Contracts exchanged on two new developments.

Contracts to acquire a single 2 bedroom apartment in Eastleigh, from Crayfern Homes, as well as a scheme for nine 2 bedroom apartments in Haywards Heath (Cross Construction) have been exchanged – with the former ready for immediate occupation.
Plot completions continue at Newick with 9 of the 12 properties now occupied.

November 2017: First occupations in Romsey, Fair Oak and Newick.

The middle of November saw the first completions and occupations on three sites with 6 purchasers moving in to their new Landspeed properties within the space of 48 hours.

October 2017: First reservations in Burgess Hill and new scheme contracted in Ringmer.

Three of the five new properties in Burgess Hill have now been reserved together with the final unit in Fair Oak. The final completions have been achieved at Hambrook and only two units remain at Newick with one at Barnham.
Contracts have been exchanged for the delivery of a pair of 3 bedroom houses in Ringmer (East Sussex) for delivery in the summer of 2018.

September 2017: New scheme in Burgess Hill.

Landspeed first scheme in Mid Sussex Council’s area has been agreed and marketing has already commenced on five new homes being constructed by Cross Construction in this popular location.

August 2017: 50% reserved at Newick and 17 reservations overall since the end of June.

Six of the twelve Landspeed affordable units have now been reserved on the Thakeham Homes development in Newick – these forming part of 17 reservations received across all sites since the end of June.

July 2017: First reservation at Fair Oak and all reserved in Romsey.

The first of Landspeed’s three affordable houses has now been reserved on the Bargate Homes development in Fair Oak with further reservations now received at Newick in East Sussex.
All six of the properties on the Talisman Homes scheme in Romsey and three properties on another Romsey scheme – being developed by Bargate Homes for delivery in 2018 – have all been reserved togethrer with the finals units at Barnham and Hambrook.

June 2017: New development agreed and first reservation at Newick.

Terms have been agreed for Landspeed’s first two schemes in the Mid Sussex District Council area – delivering 5 new affordable homes in Burgess Hill and 9 apartmenmts in Haywards Heath.
All bar one unit have now been reserved/sold on each the Hambrook and West End schemes with both maisonettes and two houses reserved at Romsey.
The first reservation has also been secured (on a 1 bed apartment) at Newick.

May 2017: First reservation at West End.

The first reservation at West End has now been secured with strong interest in the remaining two units.
Interest in all of Landspeed’s current schemes has been strong through the early part of May and a number of reservations are expected shortly on all of the Company’s current schemes.

April 2017: Two new schemes secured and additional units available in Hambrook.

Contracts have been exchanged on two new schemes delivering Landspeed’s shared purchase affordable housing in Fair Oak, Hampshire and Newick, East Sussex.
Three new houses are available on the Bargate Homes’ development in Fair Oak with twelve units – comprising  a mix of flats, bungalows and houses – on Thakeham Homes’ site in Newick.
A further pair of 3 bed houses are now available on the Mildren Homes development in Hambrook, Chichester with the first sale now exchanged on the initial release of three homes.

March 2017: New maisonettes available in West End, Southampton.

Three new properties are now available on the Mildren Homes’ development (known as Royal Heights) on Telegraph Road, West End.

February 2017: New scheme being launched in Romsey and all Salfords units reserved.

Expressions of interest are now being invited for six new affordable properties on Landspeeds’s latest acquisiion in Romsey, Hampshire.
Applicants connected to the Test Valley Borough Council area will be given priority for the four new houses and two maisonattes, which will be available for occupation in the late Summer of 2017.
The remaining four apartments at Salfords have been reserved within the first two weeks of the month.

January 2017: First reservations at Barnham and Salfords.

Terms have been agreed and marketing has commenced on a new scheme in Salfords, Surrey with the first reservation already received for one of 5 affordable one bedroom apartments.
Interest at Barnham is strong, with the first 3 bed house reserved within a week of the commencement of marketing.

December 2016: First reservation in Hambrook and contracts exchanged in Romsey.

The first reservation has been secured on Landspeed’s Hambrook scheme (developed by Mildren Homes) with strong interest in the remaining two new 3 bedroom houses.
Contracts have been exchanged for the acquisition of six new homes on the Talisman/Perbury development in Peel Close, Romsey.

September 2016: Sales completed at Ashington.

All six of the sales for the affordable apartments in Ashington were completed – and the homes occupied – during August and September.
Terms have been agreed to acquire some new 3 bedroom houses near Chichester for occupation before the end of 2016.

July 2016: Contracts exchanged on Barnham development.

Landspeed have exchanged contracts with Crayfen Homes to deliver 5 new Intermediate houses on their new development in Barnham, West Sussex. These properties (comprising a pair of 4 bedroom semi detached units, a pair of 3 bedroom semi’s and a 3 bed end terraced house) will be available for reservation later this year with completions forecast in the summer of 2017.
Terms have been agreed on a new site near Horsham and two schemes in the Lewes District Council area – all forecasted for delivery before the middle of 2017.

April 2016: Park Gate and Hawkinge completed.

Landspeed’s scheme of three houses in Park Gate has now completed with all of these new homes reserved, sold and occupied within four months of the commencement of marketing.
The final resident also completed and moved in to his new studio apartment at Hawkinge, meaning all 16 properties were delivered over a 7 month period.
A planning resolution has also been granted on a new scheme in Surrey with further opportunities agreed in Hampshire and West Sussex.

March 2016: First occupation at Park Gate and contracts exchanged on Landspeed’s next new scheme.

The first purchaser of a Landspeed property in Fareham has moved in, with the two remaining units at Park Gate set to complete before the month end.
Contracts have been exchanged for the purchase of Landpeed’s next scheme in West Sussex – 6 completed new apartments in the village of Ashington in Horsham District.

January 2016: Determined Sean Kelly, becomes one of UK’s youngest homeowners at age of 18.

A teenager from Hawkinge is thought to be one of the UK’s youngest homeowners – at just 18. Sean Kelly, a care assistant, bought his first house just months after he was legally able to do so. Despite only turning 18 in May, the former Pent Valley Technical College pupil has just collected the keys. Full Story

January 2016: New sites for 2016/17 and all units reserved in Fareham.

Landspeed Homes have entered the New Year with a number of new schemes either agreed or under negotiation for acquisition in the first few months of 2016. These include developments in Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Surrey and West Sussex and will deliver over 40 units before the summer of 2017.
All three new homes at Park Gate have now been reserved, less than one month of the commencement of marketing.

December 2015: First occupation at Folkestone and new site in Fareham.

The first purchaser on Landspeed’s Ravenlea Road scheme has now moved in to his new home. Three of the remaining five properties will be occupied before the end of January 2016 with the last two forecast to be completed – and ready for the new owners – during February/March.
Landspeed have purchased three new 3 bedroom houses from Mildren Homes on their small, successful development in Park Gate, Fareham. These homes are available for immediate occupation to those connected to the Fareham Council area.

November 2015: All plots reserved in Folkestone.

All 6 houses on Landspeed’s Ravenlea Road scheme in Folkestone have now been reserved. There are now no properties available to purchase on any site although a number of new developments are already agreed for delivery in 2016.

October 2015: All units reserved at Hawkinge and first occupation at Yapton.

The final Studio units at Hawkinge have now been reserved, meaning that 8 of the 16 of the Landspeed apartments have been reserved within the last 2 months – a third of the time it took to reserve the first 8.
Landspeed’s first purchaser at Yapton has now completed their purchase and moved into their new home.
September 2015: First occupations at Hawkinge.
The first purchasers have now moved in to their new Landspeed apartments at Terlingham Forum in Hawkinge, Kent. All of the 2 bed properties have now been sold.

August 2015: 50% reserved at Hawkinge and final completion achieved at Andover.

8 of the 16 new apartments in Hawkinge are now reserved with strong interest in the balance of the scheme. These properties are likely to be handed over to Landspeed, by Pentland Homes, during September 2015.
The final purchaser has now completed the purchase of their new Landpeed apartment in Andover with all 11 of the one and two bedroom properties sold within 8 months.

July 2015: Last Andover unit reserved and second reservation in Folkestone.

The final unit within Landspeed’s successful 11 apartment Andover scheme has been reserved. Interest remains strong and the Company is continuing to look at further schemes within the area to satisfy the need for genuinely affordable new homes.
The second of two new affordable houses on Landspeed’s Ravenlea Road scheme in Folkestone has now also been reserved.

June 2015: First Folkestone house reserved.

The first of two new houses on Landspeed’s latest scheme has been reserved within days of their availability being announced.

May 2015: New housing scheme available in Folkestone.

Initial marketing has now commenced for the delivery of two new 2 bedroom semi-detached houses on a development currently being constructed by Gold Properties in Ravenlea Road, Folkestone. These high specification new homes will be available from September 2015 and are available at £150,000 (against open market values of £200,000).

April 2015: New 2 and 3 bedroom houses in Yapton launched.

The pair of new semi-detached houses on Landspeed’s Yapton scheme in West Sussex are now available for reservation to those connected with the Arun District Council area.

April 2015: Last unit remaining at Andover.

Only one 1 bedroom apartment remains within Landspeed’s 11 unit scheme in East Anton.
February 2015: First sale agreed at Hawkinge.
Interest in Landspeed’s new apartments in Hawkinge is strong with the first reservation now proceeeding to sale. These units will be available for occupation from August 2015.

January 2015: Hawkinge sales prices confirmed.

Landspeed’s new affordable homes in Hawkinge will be available to occupy during the summer of 2015 and are now available to those registered on the Help to Buy South East web-site. Applicants must be unable to buy similar properties on the open market and must be connected to the Shepway Council area. These new homes will be available from £75,000 for a new studio and £106,875 for a new 2 bed apartment.

January 2015: New schemes in 2015

Landspeed Homes will be delivering new affordable homes on a number of new sites during 2015.
Aside from the purchases secured late in 2014 (delivering 18 new homes on two separate developments) terms have also been agreed on further sites in the south east with many other opportunities under discussion.

December 2014: First occupations at Andover.

There are now only 5 new apartments available for purchase in Andover following the completion of the first 3 sales on 19th December, with 3 further reservations looking likely to complete during January 2015.
